About 2,000 poor people in Tangail received specialized healthcare

The voluntary healthcare provider Late Chhamir Uddin Mia Kalyan Sangstha has provided free healthcare, tests and medicines to about 2,000 underprivileged patients.

The organization has been organizing this exceptional event for people in remote villages deprived of medical services for 6 years. In continuation of this, on Friday (January 2), in its 6th year, a free medical camp was organized by Late Chhamir Uddin Mia Kalyan Sangstha in Bir Salil village of Sahabatpur union of Nagarpur upazila of Tangail. In the medical camp, 14 specialist doctors diagnosed the patients and provided free prescriptions and free medicines.

The patients who came for treatment said that they benefited a lot from this medical service provided by the doctors of the doctor's house. Every year, they do a lot of good to the people in remote villages deprived of medical services by organizing such free medical camps. Present at the event were Dr. Md. Jahidul Islam, Director of the late Chhamir Uddin Mia Welfare Organization and Chief Medical Officer of Sylhet City Corporation, Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Director of Chhamir Uddin Mia Welfare Organization and Sunamganj District Animal Resources Officer, Dr. Md. Jobaidur Rahman Liton, Director of Chhamir Uddin Mia Welfare Organization and prominent Malaysian businessman, Md. Jobaidur Rahman Liton, Advisory President of Chhamir Uddin Mia Welfare Organization, M. A. Sattar, among others.

Patients who came to the medical camp said that they benefited a lot from the free medical services provided by the doctors of the doctor's house. Every year, by organizing such free medical camps, they do a lot of good to the villagers and the people of remote villages who are deprived of medical services. We are very happy to receive free treatment and medicines here.

Dr. Md. Zahidul Islam, director of the late Chhamir Uddin Mia Welfare Organization, who organized the free medical camp, said, "I consider it a blessing from God to be able to do something for the people deprived of medical services in the village, and I come back to my village again and again to do something for the people. Therefore, this free medical camp will be held every year for the welfare of the people, InshaAllah."
