The three-day Gen-Z Carnival Thakurgaon 2026, organized by Ahoban, concluded on Saturday evening with a vibrant music festival, bringing the unique event to a close.

The final day began with the “Run Gen-Z Run” race competition in the morning, inaugurated by Mirza Faisal Amin, General Secretary of the Thakurgaon District BNP. General Secretary Paygam Ali was also present.

Later, a free medical camp, one of the carnival’s key activities, was held. Specialist doctors in medicine, chest diseases, diabetes, dentistry, gynecology, and other fields provided consultations. Around 400 patients received free medical care and medicines.

The day also featured the final round of the “Battle of Argument” competition, with Thakurgaon Government Boys’ High School and Eco Pathshala & College competing. Eco Pathshala & College emerged as the winner. The judges included internationally renowned social researcher Dr. Faham Abdus Salam and social organizer Dr. Shamaruh Mirza, who also provided guidance to students on critical thinking, leadership, and positive mindset development.

Additionally, the Pitha Adda and Entrepreneur Fair, ongoing since the second day, concluded. Various entrepreneurs from Thakurgaon participated, noting that the event helped promote their products and boost sales.

On the final day, the awards for the “Gen-Z Out of the Frame” art exhibition, held on the first day, were distributed. The exhibited works, focusing on the Liberation War, contemporary history, and Thakurgaon’s nature, people, and culture, received widespread appreciation.

The organizers stated that the carnival’s main aim is to foster creativity among the youth while promoting humanity, social responsibility, and conscious citizenship. They expressed optimism about continuing such initiatives in the future.
