US Ambassador Meets BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman

The newly appointed United States Ambassador to Bangladesh, Brent Christensen, held a meeting with BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman.

The meeting took place on Monday afternoon at the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan, Dhaka. Various issues of mutual interest were discussed during the courtesy call.

Several officials from the US Embassy were present at the meeting. Senior leaders of the BNP also attended the discussion.

Among those present from the BNP were Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee member Humayun Kabir, and Advisory Council member Dr Mahadi Amin.
