Tamil superstar and TVK leader Thalapathy Vijay has declared that his political battle is not merely about winning elections, but about protecting democracy itself. Addressing a major strategy meeting in Tamil Nadu, Vijay said those who join this struggle are his “commandos.”

He ruled out any political alliance, launching sharp attacks on both the ruling DMK and the opposition AIADMK. Vijay accused established parties of betraying democratic ideals and turning polling booths into centers of malpractice.

As TVK prepares for its first-ever state election campaign across all 234 constituencies, Vijay’s bold statements signal a high-stakes political showdown in Tamil Nadu.
