Ferdous Mamun Elected President, Sumon Pramanik General Secretary

A new committee of the Bogura Journalists Forum, Dhaka—an organization of journalists from Bogura working in the capital—has been formed. In the newly announced committee, Ferdous Mamun (Global TV) has been elected as President, and Sumon Pramanik (Daily Voice of Asia) as General Secretary.

Earlier, on April 11, a six-member election commission was formed at a meeting of the previous committee held at a hotel in the capital. Today, May 6, 2026, the election commission ঘোষণা করে a 9-member new committee.

Other members of the newly formed committee are:
Vice President Ahmed Jewel (Bangla News), Joint Secretary Mirza Samrat Reza (Karatoya), Organizational Secretary Md. Aminul Islam (Mukto Khobor), Treasurer Sajid Sarker (71 TV), Office Secretary Azad Ahmed (DBC News), Executive Member Mujahid (Dinkal), and Executive Member S.M. Aminul Momin (Dristi Protidin).
