The unveiling ceremony of the fourth book titled “Wazifa-e-Yadullah”, authored by renowned writer and Islamic researcher Syed Ahmad Bakht Matin, was held in a festive yet solemn atmosphere at the historic Khandura Darbar Sharif. The event took place on the occasion of the traditional Zikir-e-Imam Hussain (RA) Mahfil.

The program was held on Tuesday, August 4, after Maghrib prayers, at the premises of the shrine of Syed Hamid Bakht Dumon (RA). The book was officially unveiled by the chief guest, Member of Parliament for Brahmanbaria-1 (Nasirnagar), M. A. Hannan.

The ceremony was presided over by Syed Masud Bakht (Qa’ed) of Haziratul Qudsia, Khandura Darbar Sharif. Among the special guests present were Basir Uddin Tuhin, General Secretary of Nasirnagar Upazila BNP; Syed Faiyaz Hasan Babu, Chairman of Ashtagram Sadar Union Parishad and former convener of Upazila BNP; Abdel Mannan, Director of Bishwa Lalon Sangha, author of multiple books, and Sufi researcher; Syed Sohel Abdal; Syed Sajjad Morshed Shuvo; former Chairman of Chapartala Union Parvez Bhuiya; BNP leader Nure Alam; Jubo Dal leader Md. Jamal, along with other distinguished local personalities and political figures.

In his speech, Chief Guest M. A. Hannan highly praised the author Syed Ahmad Bakht Matin and wished him good health and a long life. He urged the audience to follow the practices and guidance mentioned in the book in their daily lives. He also requested prayers from all attendees as he prepares to travel to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah with his family to perform Umrah.

It is noteworthy that the author’s previously published books—“Mohakaler Ayna,” “Pakpanjatan,” “Chishtiyar Kisti,” and “Khanaye Dawra Hote Khandura”—have received wide acclaim among readers. The newly released “Wazifa-e-Yadullah” is also expected to serve as a significant source of spiritual enrichment for Sufi enthusiasts and general readers alike.

In the second phase of the program, an all-night Zikir-e-Imam Hussain (RA) Mahfil will be held, where prominent scholars, including Dr. Ehsanul Hadi, Professor of Persian Language and Literature at the University of Dhaka, will deliver speeches. Additionally, Pir-Mashayekh from Khandura Habeli and various other Darbar Sharifs will be present. The program will conclude with the final munajat after Fajr prayers.
