CNG driver killed in Feni road accident

A CNG-run autorickshaw driver was killed after a CNG-run auto-rickshaw overturned on the Feni-Sonagazi regional road at Mamar Darbar in Matiganj area under Sonagazi upazila of the district today.

The deceased was identified as CNG driver Abu Saeed Suman, 32, son of Afsar Mia, resident of Charkhwaj village of the upazila.

The accident occurred when a CNG-run auto rickshaw overturned on the Feni-Sonagazi regional road around 8am, leaving him injured seriously, Sonagazi Model Police Inspector (Investigation) Maqsood Ahmed said.

He was taken to Sonagazi Upazila Health Complex, he said.

Later, the injured was shifted to Feni General Hospital for better treatment, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead around 10am.

The body was kept at the Feni General Hospital morgue, he added.
