UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Meets with Chief Advisor

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, met with Bangladesh’s interim Chief Advisor, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, in New York.

The meeting took place on Wednesday, September 25, at 11 AM local time in New York, USA.

During the meeting, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights commended the Chief Advisor for the interim government's initiatives and efforts toward reforms in Bangladesh.

The two discussed areas of mutual interest, particularly focusing on justice, freedom, and human rights.

The UN High Commissioner again praised the Chief Advisor for the interim government's reform initiatives in Bangladesh.
