DMP files 2,596 cases for traffic violations in 2 days

The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 2,596 cases for traffic violations during operations in different parts of the capital over two days, ending Thursday (Dec 26) morning.

Authorities also impounded 102 vehicles and towed 92 others as part of the crackdown.

The DMP has stated that these operations aim to improve road discipline in Dhaka, with similar drives set to continue in the coming days.
