Foreign Affairs Advisor Md Touhid Hossain has left for Saudi Arabia to participate in a ministerial-level meeting organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
His flight departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Thursday (March 6) afternoon.
Confirming the departure, the Foreign Ministry's Public Relations Officer Md. Kamrul Islam stated that Touhid Hossain is en route to Jeddah, where he will attend the OIC's extraordinary meeting.
Following the conclusion of the ministerial discussions, he is expected to return to Bangladesh on March 8.
The OIC has convened this high-level meeting in Jeddah to address measures concerning Israel's occupation and aggression against Palestinians.
