The interim government has urged all citizens not to take the law into their own hands. This request was made in a statement posted on the Chief Adviser's Press Wing's Facebook page on Sunday (June 22) night.

The statement noted that on Sunday (June 22), former Chief Election Commissioner Nurul Huda was arrested by the police in connection with a specific case. The government has become aware of the "mob" that created a chaotic situation and physically assaulted the accused during this time. Therefore, the government is once again requesting all citizens of the country not to take the law into their own hands.

It further stated that all accused individuals will be tried in accordance with the country's laws, and the courts will make decisions regarding ongoing cases and individuals.

The notification also said that attacking and physically assaulting an accused person is illegal, contrary to the rule of law, and a criminal offense. Law enforcement agencies will identify all those who create chaotic situations by forming "mobs" and take appropriate action. All citizens are requested to play a tolerant role in the struggle to establish justice.
