Dr Kalimullah arrested in graft case

Memebrs of Detective Branch (DB) has arrested former Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University (BRUR) Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah in a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Deputy Commissioner of Media and Public Relations Division, Mohammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Thursday (August 7).

He said Kalimullah was arrested from the Mohammadpur area in connection with a case filed by the ACC.

He is currently in DB custody, added the official.
