Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to hold a crucial meeting on Sunday with representatives of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Jamaat-e-Islami, and the National Congress Party (NCP), according to Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.

The talks, scheduled for tomorrow, will focus on the upcoming national elections and the political roadmap ahead.

The meeting comes amid growing calls for inclusive dialogue to ensure a free, fair, and credible electoral process. It also follows tension between political parties and law-enforcement authorities following attack on Gono Odhikar Parishad president Nurul Huq Nur.

Shafiqul Alam confirmed the development on Saturday, saying that further details regarding the time and venue of the meeting would be announced shortly.
